How Table for Six works
To join Table for Six (T46), you book a city and time slot in the Table for Six mini program, answer a questionnaire, and we match you into a table of six. Before the night we tell you where to go. At the table, conversation cards do the icebreaking. Most nights last 2–3 hours, and there's no fixed end time.
The short version
Book → questionnaire → matched into a table → venue revealed → meet and open the box → mutual picks afterwards
1. Book a city, a night and a table type
Search Table for Six. Choose one of our 12 cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Changsha, Wuhan, Chongqing, Tianjin, Nanjing, Suzhou), a date, and a format:
- Dinner: RMB 58. The RMB 58 fee does not include the meal; diners split the bill at the restaurant.
- Monday–Thursday drinks: RMB 88, including one cocktail or non-alcoholic drink
- Friday–Sunday drinks: RMB 118, including one cocktail or non-alcoholic drink. Friday counts as the weekend.
You choose a gender-balanced or women-only table when you book. If you don't drink, your included drink can be non-alcoholic.
2. Tell us a little about yourself
The questionnaire covers your interests, what you like talking about, and a bit about you. We only use it to find your tablemates and choose your table's topics. No CV needed. In the mini program this is the AI questionnaire, and it usually takes about 2 minutes.
3. We match a table of six
From everyone who signed up for that slot, we put together six people who should get along and still bring something different to the table. You don't have to organize anything or pick anyone.
If we can't place you at a table, you can choose in the mini program to move to the next session or apply for a refund. A refund returns the booking fee and any coupon in full.
4. The reveal: venue and tablemates
Usually about 24 hours before the start, the mini program shows the venue and a short introduction to your tablemates. Venues are generally partner restaurants or bars.
5. On the night: open the box
Arrive on time and find your table. The conversation cards and small games on the table start easy and get more interesting from there.
Running late? Tap "running late" in the mini program (5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes) and your table gets a heads-up. Being late costs nothing.
There's no fixed length; most tables run 2–3 hours.
6. Afterwards: mutual picks
After the night you can pick the tablemates you'd like to keep in touch with in the mini program. You see each other's contact details only if you both pick. Not picking anyone is fine too. One good night is enough.
As of 20 Oct 2026, the chance of at least one mutual pick after an event is over 90% (platform data).
